Born in Venice, Federico de Majo is the founder and the designer of the Zafferano brand created in 2001.
Inspired by the tradition of handcrafted Murano glassware, he started by offering glass tableware before turning to lighting. Always on the lookout for the latest LED technologies, he combines the know-how of mouth-blown glass to create luminaires with customizable design.
In 2005, Federico de Majo, expands his inspirations by creating the Ai Lati brand, with more functional lights and a minimalist design.
In this search for innovation and adaptation, he is now developing a range of lampe-à-porter, freed from wires tanks to an integrated battery.
