Francesco Lucchese was born in the province of Messina and holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the Polytechnic School of Milan. In 1985, "Traslazione", one of his folding chair projects, received the first prize in the competition for collective spaces organized by Adi and the industrial group Busnelli.

Between 1989 and 1991 he was Industrial Design Assistant at the Brera Academy. He draws lamp collections for Candle, Fabbian, Foscarini, Italiana Luce, Luxo, Quatrifolio and Venini. In the area of furniture design for the living area and bathroom, he designed for Liddo & Perego, Inda, Rapsel and Swan.

The experience made with Murano glass marks it deeply and so is born a collection of vases for Nason & Moretti. Today, with his workgroup, he also focuses on corporate identity, brand and product communication.
