Frans Van Nieuwenborg is an industrial designer.
After his studies at the Academy of Industrial Design in Eindhoven, he worked for several years in Denmark. In 1973 he founded his studio in Leiden (the Netherlands), which has been known since 1990 as the Van Nieuwenborg Industrial Design Consultancy Group.
Among other things, he designed the Delight lamp from the Ingo Maurer collection.
