Born in Novara, Gabi Peretto lived in Milan where he graduated with Andrea Branzi, writing a dissertation on the redevelopment of urban areas following the crisis in the shape-function relationship. From 1995 to 1997, he worked for the Andrea Branzi studio in Milan and the Tamra studio in Nagoya, Japan. In 1998, he founded the Omikron Design factory and designed its main collections. In 2009 and 2010, he designed the wall lamps Simplicity and Yves for FontanaArte and the hanging lamp with indirect light emission, Spiral Tribe. He lives and works in Canton, in the People’s Republic of China.
