The Giancarlo Mattioli is an Italian designer who was born in 1933.
In the 60’s, he creates the group « Gruppo Architteti Urbanisti Città Nuova » with the Italians : Pierluigi Cervellati, Umberto Maccaferri, Franco Morelli, Gianpaolo Mazzucato et Mario.
They create the Nesso and Nessino table lamps for the Artemide Italian house. The icon design are known around the world. Nesso is in MoMa in New York. It also win the first prize at the Studio Artemide Domus competition.
