Giovanni Lauda was born in 1956 in Naples, where he obtained a master's degree in Architecture.
He worked for Morozzi & Partners from 1988 to 1991. In 1992 he founded the architecture, decoration and design studio D&L with Dante Donegani in Milan.
Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda's products have been exhibited at the London Design Museum and the Vitra Design Museum.
He has designed products for domestic use for Sedie & Company, Uchino, Play line, Le Cose Nostre, Edra, Radice, Luceplan and Viceversa.
