The Gridy design studio has only one name, but the studio was created by two designers: Wilhelm Grieg Teisner and Lars Olav Dybdal. They combined their last names to form the word Gridy.
These young designers studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bergen before moving to Oslo, where they became known for their functional creations characterized by their personality and sense of humour. Gridy has brought his characteristic ingenuity to the Northern brand with design and highly functional creations.
Although Gridy specializes in simple and functional designs, all its products are loaded with originality, character and individual style.
