Designer

Born in 1992, Iratxe Gonzalez studied industrial design engineering and product development at the University of Mondragon before taking the next step in Barcelona, pursuing a master's degree in furniture design at Barcelona's Elisava School of Design and Engineering.

It was during this time that "En Salmón Mosataza" was born, where she and her master's companion and entrepreneur Andrea Gelpí began their journey together by designing the Ophelia lamp. As the designers themselves state, "Ophelia was created with the aim of being not just a box for light, but a lamp capable of adapting to its user".

After a period of collaboration, Iratxe decided to embark on a new path at Danone as an engineer and packaging designer, which marked a turning point in her career. Today, she lives in Ghent (Belgium), where she leads a packaging development team for the Alpro and Danone brands at European level.
