Jaume Ramírez was born in Olot in 1973. He moved to Girona to study design at the Universitat Politécnica de Girona, then settled in the Basque Country, where he founded his first studio, Zoocreative, in collaboration with Gorka Ibargoyen and Josema Carrillo. In 2019, he established his own studio in Barcelona, where he currently practices.

His first creation, the Delica tray collection, won him several prestigious awards such as the Delta de Oro, Red Dot Design and Design Plus prizes. He has collaborated with renowned brands such as Escofet, Parklex, Normann Copenhagen, Arcos and Mobles 114.

In parallel to his regular work, following an unexpected opportunity, he embarked on projects in France, participating in several editions of the Saint-Étienne Biennale, Designer's Days in Paris, and exhibiting his creations in iconic venues such as the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris, the Cité de la Mode et du Design, as well as the famous Parisian store Merci.
