In 2004, Herrero co-founded his first studio, Ebualà, before setting up his own studio, Javier Herrero Studio, in 2009. His work is characterized by a minimalist aesthetic, careful attention to materials, and a desire to combine functionality and durability. Herrero's creations often reflect a Mediterranean character, marked by soft, refined forms.
His approach is guided by the idea that everyday objects should enrich the lives of those who use them, while also having a positive impact on the environment. His collaborations with brands such as LZF Lamps and Sancal testify to his ability to transform abstract concepts into concrete, functional products.
