José Lévy, born in Paris in 1963, is a multidisciplinary designer and artist. He made his name in fashion by launching his own label in 1990, before becoming artistic director for prestigious houses such as Cacharel and Emanuel Ungaro. His chic-casual style earned him the ANDAM prize in 1991.

In 2007, he abandoned fashion to devote himself to design and the decorative arts. He collaborates with institutions such as the Manufacture de Sèvres and brands such as Hermès and Roche Bobois. His work explores the links between memory, craftsmanship and modernity, playing with shapes and materials.
