The designer Kaare Klint was born in 1888, he is the brother of Tage Klint: they are the creators of Le Klint which they will found in 1943. He was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts of the School of Furniture Arts in 1924.

Influenced and bathed in design from an early age thanks to his family, especially his father, he was also inspired by the human body to create his designs. He also realized many pieces of furniture, apart from lighting, such as chairs and worked in many projects (museum, hospital).

One of his biggest projects is the Grundtvig Church in Bispebjerg in Copenhagen, a project formerly supervised by his father PV Jensen Klint, he spent 10 years of his career there, the church was completed in 1940. This church is inspired by the collaboration between father and son.
He was one of the first designers to think of a "hybrid" light, in fact the model "Kip" or model 306 is one of the first lights at Le Klint to be multifunctional (wall / table lamp).
