Klaus Begasse is a German designer and architect born in Wiesbaden, with a degree in architecture from the University of Stuttgart. He co-founded a multidisciplinary office in Stuttgart, combining architecture, product design and media, and collaborates with various national and international firms. He has also won several awards in the fields of architecture, product design and graphic publishing.
He is best known for his "Reeds" series with Artemide: floor lamps for both indoor and outdoor use, featuring a polycarbonate base and light stems reminiscent of a bouquet of reeds, with IP67 protection for outdoor use.
