Krøyer-Sætter Lassen is a duo of Danish designers who started their collaboration at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, a design school, from which they both graduated.
At first, it was about discussing art and design, and later, it turned out to be real projects.
The duo has always been aware of their different personalities, but have used it as a force to approach their process from different angles.
They compare their approach to design with a quote from Saatchi: "The more you like art, the more art you like".
This is why their working method has many different starting points. It can be a common fascination with a subject, a collection of wood, a material or a concept.
They often challenge themselves to look at materials from a different perspective in order to work in a new and nuanced way.
