Occupation
Designer

In 2005, Lukas Peet left his homeland: Canada to follow the prestigious industrial design program of the Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands. After graduating in 2009, Lukas returned to Canada and founded Lukas / Peet Design, active in interior design, graphics and space.

His aesthetic maturity earned him immediate recognition, notably as the winner of the Canadian young designer award for Maison & Objet Rising Talent and Next Generation Designer. His creations were made by international designers from manufacturers such as Roll & Hill, Umbra Shift and Karakter.

His work has been published and exhibited internationally, including his first solo exhibition at the Design Exchange in Toronto.

In 2013, Lukas co-founded ANDlight, a contemporary lighting company based in Vancouver, Canada. We owe him in particular the Button, Orbit, Pebble, Pivot, Slab & Spotlight Volumes collections. The company is co-founded by Caine Heintzman and Matt Davis with the intention of challenging existing lighting standards.
