Marie-Cerise Blanc is the founder of the Zuri brand.
She designs objects handmade in the Basque Country, imagined as unique pieces of decoration, with pure and subtle lines.
The desire to work with concrete offers her infinite possibilities of creation, a field of experimentation still to be explored. Concrete gives Zuri's creations the purity and strength found in this region. It is a perfect reflection of the inspiration the designer drew from the Basque Country: the power of the elements and the gentle way of life.
Designed to be flexible and durable, their handcrafted manufacture allows the concrete to express all its strength and to assume some irregularities that make the uniqueness of each piece.
Since its origins, Zuri has been placed under the sign of giving, sharing and the attention that Marie-Cerise gives to each of her creations. This is also what makes each object that passes through her hands unique.
