Miguel Arruda (born April 27, 1943) is an accomplished Portuguese artist in the fields of sculpture, architecture, design and education.
His works are exhibited in national and international collections, notably at the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Belém Cultural Centre in Lisbon, and are the subject of two solo exhibitions in 1966 and 1970

With the recent addition of interior design and lighting to his artistic heritage, his creations as well as his work and research on architecture have appeared in some of the most influential publications in the world.
Focusing on sculpture, architecture and industrial design, his studio Miguel Arruda Arquitectos Associados won competitions and awards.

He has designed lighting fixtures including Captain Cork for the Belgian brand Dark.
