The designer Mogens Koch was born in 1898, he was also a professor at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Denmark. He has won many awards for his projects such as the Danish Design Center's Classic Award. He is not only specialized in lighting, indeed one of his most popular creations is the folding chair for Carl Hansen & Søn in 1933.
Like the brother of the creator of the Danish company Le Klint, Kaare Klint, Mogens Koch uses mathematics a lot to conceptualize his projects. It is intended to be meticulous while offering simple and elegant lighting fixtures. The two designers are also the main pillars of Le Klint.
