Paolo Emanuele Nava (1989) and Luca Maria Arosio (1988) are Nava + Arosio.
The two Italian designers have two studios, one in Milan, the other in Lissone, in a large house-workshop-laboratory dating from the early 1900s.
They began collaborating early in their university studies at Milan's Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA). In 2012, they both graduated in Product Design, presenting a project entitled "Maniacal Mirrors". Working on various projects for prestigious companies such as Rubelli, Lago, Riva1920, Italamp and in collaboration with Paolo Nava Design Studio, they began to experiment with humanistic design, i.e. design in which the person is at the center, with his or her material and immaterial needs.
In 2014, they founded Nava+Nava Design Studio, which evolved in 2018 into Nava + Arosio Studio.
The studio, founded in collaboration with Shanghai-based point-of-contact Jonathan Nava and Hamburg-based point-of-contact Alexander Nava, has won prestigious international awards, with several projects published by the industry's leading behemoths.
