Oliver Schick was born in 1969 in Darmstadt, a city immersed in art ! He studied and graduated from HBK - University of Fine Arts in Saarbruecken, Germany. He worked for many studios and brands and he created his own studio in 2005.
He is the creator of the Ronde collection from Gubi. It is not only limited to lighting, it also creates furniture! He has worked with Ligne Roset, Skandiform and of course Gubi.
His wish is to design products that are timeless and functional, in fact:
"My goal is to design products with character, timeless and easy to understand. Often, only minor changes or unexpected details are needed to give a product a living character."
