Born in 1941 in Milan, the city of design, Paolo Rizzatto graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic of Milan in 1965. He then discovered a real passion for the design of lighting fixtures, which will make his success. His engineering precision, his work with metal, and his innovative approach to lighting have made him a very famous designer, considered one of the greatest of his century in terms of lighting.
Rizzatto's style can be described as hybrid, inspiring very different movements from classical Italian design to the emerging Scandinavian modernist movement. He has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Compas d'Or on three occasions. The 267 lamp, which he designed in 1969, is certainly the luminaire that made him famous.
