Patrick Jouin was born in Nantes in 1967. After his graduation in the National School of Industrial Design (ENSCI) in 1992 he decided to create his own agency which will open in 1998 in the 11th arrondissement of Paris.
Today Patrick Jouin has become a reference throughout the world thanks to his refined lighting designs.
He created objects and furnitures that are edited by Ligne Roset, Cassina, Fermob and Kartell.
Patrick Jouin has also produced a prototype of a high-end vehicle for the French Renault brand.
The designer has won several awards, such as the Leasure Design Award and the Golden Compass for Pan Pastapot in 2011.
