Peter Bysted is a Danish designer and architect.

Even before he graduated as an architect and industrial designer, Peter Bysted won second prize in a competition organized by Louis Poulsen for the lighting of old districts to be preserved.

He combined his dual interest in design and graphic design by founding his own communications company, Bysted A/S.
Beyond the design of lighting fixtures, Peter Bysted goes from programming visual identities for companies to the conception and implementation of projects for large international exhibitions.

He has designed bestsellers such as Rubbie, originally designed for the Danish pavilion at the Hannover EXPO, which won the prestigious Lighting Design Award.
