Robert Dudley Best is a British designer influenced by Le Corbusier, Mies Van der Rohe and the Bauhaus movement. A change in orientation led him into industrial design with a lighting specialty and he traveled in Germany and France in search of his passion and new directions. His flagship product is the Bestlite lamp, which became famous all over the world thanks to Winston Churchill who loved this lamp so much that he took it with him when on a mission away from his desk.
