Servomuto

Based in Milan, the Servomuto studio are specialized in lamp-shades designs since 2007. The studio gathers two young Italian designers, Alessandro Poli et Francesca De Giorgi. The duo give rise to a combination of graphic and architectural designs.

Every single design draws its inspiration from multiple vintage textile archives, old army blankets, trimming material and theatre curtains. Their designs gives a very special emotion thanks to a meticulous hand made confection in Italy.

Sevomuto designs are characterized by an ideal balance between historical lamp shades and modern patterns as well as functional lighting and elegant Italian designs.

The designer duo focuses on the very meticulous work put into the finishes and details inspired from Florentine traditions.

One same lamp-shade is taking care of by a unique artisan which produce the object from start to finish.
