Fatboy's in-house design studio is a center of innovation where talented designers create functional, aesthetic and playful products. The brand's first iconic product, the Fatboy Original, was designed in 1998 by Finnish designer Jukka Setälä. This oversized footstool, inspired by Fatboy Slim's musical avant-garde, propelled him into the Design Top 100.
In 2002, Alex Bergman took over the brand and gave it a global dimension, making the Original a style icon in over 50 countries.
The materials used are carefully chosen for their strength and longevity, and the brand is beginning to integrate more ecological practices into its manufacturing process. Comfort and durability are at the heart of every creation, but this is never at the expense of the fun and playfulness that characterizes Fatboy products.
Each object is designed to add a touch of humor and fun, while remaining extremely functional and suitable for everyday use.
