The two designers Pablo Figuera and Álvaro Goula are graduated in design from Elisava School in Barcelona, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southampton University.
After working for several studios in Barcelona, they decided to create their own studio Goula/Figuera in 2012 and started collaborating with international companies in art direction and product creation. Their main mission is to take care of the form in order to express aesthetic values through the materials used and the functionality of the objects they create. Their design creations are therefore characterized by the simplicity of their lines, their elegance and their ease of use.
According to these characteristics, the Studio develops the Han lamp, a multifunctional light that acts as a coat rack and the Nit lamp that acts as a bedside table, two of the most important projects carried out in collaboration with Faro Barcelona. They also work with the company Estiluz for whom they create the Maine collection.
They have also received numerous awards and nominations, including the Design Plus and Injuve Award in 2012, the Lexus Design Award and the 1st Critics 'Award Red Spanish Design Brands Association in 2013.
