Vincent Van Duysen is a Belgian architect and designer born in Lokeren in 1962. He has a diploma from architecture Academy of Saint-Luc de Gand. After working between Milan and Bruxelles from 1986 to 1989, he opens his own agency in Anvers in 1990 where he develops the link between architecture and decoration.

The designer and architect finds his inspiration in modernism. In his creations the form is directly connected to the initial object function. The object shaped by its initial use and not the other way around. Van Duysen was very inspired by Le Corbusier in his work.

Minimalist and perfectionist, he seeks for purity in forms and materials. He has a special relationship with object and design, he wants to make the link between decoration and architecture stronger in all his works and projects. The object and light in particular must be drawn to fit the space. He says that : « Feeling protected is very important, we all need this, and it is something that I want to fulfill in my architectural and design projects. »
