Fresnel is a lamp created by the famous designer Joe Colombo in 1966 for the Italian brand Oluce.

Intended to appear as one of those perfect objects that can't be improved on any further, because they've been designed and shaped by time, this wall lamp is capable of making the essential and the practical synonymous with elegance.

The 10 cm diameter Fresnel wall lamp becomes the absolute protagonist of this project, of which different versions have been designed over time: wall/ceiling lamps for indoors and outdoors, as well as a floor lamp just for outdoors. Its metal body discreetly completes the structure, once again privileging the function of practical support over any other ornament or decoration.

The indoor/outdoor wall lamp emits a direct, diffused light. Its support is in lacquered aluminum and its diffuser is a Fresnel lens. The sconce is available in LED version with a maximum capacity of 4.5 W, light color of 3000 Kelvin (cool white) and luminous flux of 500 lm, CRI > 85, or with an E14 lampholder with a maximum capacity of 40W.
