Here's the iconic Cestita model in a suspended version.

Designed by Miguel Mila in 1961, it is now reissued by the Spanish company Santa & Cole.

In the 60s, the designer discovered an abandoned opal globe in front of a glassworks, and so began the story of the Cesta lamp. Evoking its original function by its Spanish name, "basket", the Cesta was designed to be handled with care. Inspired by the traditional lanterns used to light coastal dwellings, country estates and open terraces, the Cesta has become one of the most emblematic lamps in Miguel Milá's work. Featuring an opal glass or polyethylene shade supported by a wood or metal structure finely hand-worked using ancestral bending techniques, this lamp combines elegance and functionality, remaining contemporary despite its singularity.

Cestita is a true symbol of Mediterranean warmth and well-being. It's ideal for adding a touch of freshness and naturalness to your interior. Whatever the room - living room, bedroom, office - this lamp creates a warm, soft atmosphere.
