The sublime Soleil suspension is designed by Philip Bro Ludvigsen for the Danish company Le Klint.

Named after the French word for "sun", the Soleil collection features the same characteristic distribution of light from its center, like our main star in our solar system. Philip Bro Ludvigsen has worked even further with traditional hand-pleated Le Klint shades, to give us a stunning design in a beautiful combination of aluminum, linen, oak wood and paper.

This understated design gives a calm yet balanced look that most people will immediately associate with the minimalism of Nordic living. This extremely slim design allows Soleil to be used in a wide variety of interiors: in a dining room, a restaurant or a business meeting room. The powerful LED light source combined with the pleated shade prevents glare during use, while guaranteeing sufficient light.

The suspension is available in two sizes (35 cm or 50 cm diameter) and two colors. Silver Cloud, featuring light aluminum with light oak wood detailing, and Thunder Sky, featuring dark smoked oak detailing on darker aluminum.

This model is available in dark aluminum and dark wood. It measures 35 cm in diameter. The 850lm LED light source is included.
