This vintage luminaire is inspired by the lamps traditionally used in English universities in the 1920s.

Their clean, voluptuous lines made them a popular choice for institutions looking for soft, even ambient lighting. Today, this Schoolhouse style remains popular for its timeless design that adds a retro look to any interior!

This elegant brass and blown glass fixture illuminates your home with aesthetic appeal and sophistication.

Each shade is handmade by skilled glassblowers in a European artisanal workshop. The manufacturing process, in the respect of traditions, requires a real know-how. Once the glass has been blown into the desired shape using a metal blowpipe and an iron mould, it is placed in an annealing furnace which controls the drop in temperature to prevent cracking.

The globe measures 36 cm in diameter and 20 cm in height. The base of the brass structure measures 11.5 cm in diameter and 30 cm in height.

The bulb is not supplied. We recommend an E27 max 60W bulb.
