Biny Spot is a spotlight designed in 1955 by designer Jacques Biny, reissued by DCW éditions.

An arm provides the link between a circular base fixed to a wall and a spotlight, composed of two cylinders. An optional rod at the end of the spot makes it easy to direct the light beam. Efficiency, simplicity, sobriety, elegance and a refusal to be ostentatious are common denominators in the work of Jacques Biny, a creative who has never ceased working to improve comfort through light in the home; denominators which also apply to the design of Biny Spot. With Biny Spot, the designer has concentrated a beam of light on a specific surface. To achieve this, Biny Spot uses a unique rotation joint that can turn 330°, as well as 88° up and down. Available in a variety of options, all you have to do is choose the ideal combination to suit your needs, whether illuminating a work surface or bringing comfortable clarity to a reading moment.

The base is available in two colors: black and nickel. The spotlight cover is available in three colors: black, nickel and brass. Biny Spot is available with or without its own switch. Two technologies are available: integrated LED module or dimmable with GU10 bulb.
