The Babylon wall sconce by Schwung pays homage to the earliest traces of writing, drawing inspiration from the cuneiform symbols engraved in clay in ancient Mesopotamia.

Its design combines a brass structure with geometric lines and natural stone elements, whose angular shapes echo the motifs of humanity’s earliest inscriptions. A true sculptural light fixture, it plays with the contrasts between materials and reveals a subtle interplay of light and shadow that evokes the reliefs of engraved tablets, while adding a contemporary and refined touch to the space.

The Babylon wall sconce naturally finds its place on either side of a mirror, at the head of a bed, or along a hallway to create a graphic rhythm and a warm atmosphere. Used alone or in a row, it adds character to the room while diffusing an elegant light that enhances the interior architecture.

The wall sconce measures 12.5 cm in length and 40.2 cm in height.
