Butterfly, an iconic wall sconce!

Butterfly is a wall lamp created in 1964 by designer Sven Dysthe and reissued in 2008 by Northern Lighting. It has now been reinvented in a perforated version for even more light.

With its elegant structure and discreet allure, the wall lamp blends equally well in a chic, contemporary setting as in a classic, retro décor. Two curved wings unfurl along the mother structure to give it, as its name suggests, the appearance of a strawman. A design based on simplicity and charm.

What sets it apart from its big sister are its perforations. They allow for more direct and unique lighting.

Working on the principle of direct light, but also backlighting thanks to its wings, Butterfly confers a soft, warm light. Don't hesitate to multiply Butterfly sconces on the same wall to accentuate this effect.

Butterfly measures 21cm high, 20cm wide and 10cm deep.
