Wall light, MANTIS BS5 MINI, black, LED, , , L25,5cm, H11,5cm - Dcw editions
The French publishing house presents Mantis BS5 MINI, originally created in 1951 by Bernard Schottlander.
Inspired by Alexander Calder's work on mobiles, this is where the designer unveils this collection.
As an artist and engineer, Bernard Schottlander developed a clever counterweight pivot system, and used thin, flexible and ultra-resistant metal rods.
This Mantis BS5 MINI wall light is a miniature replica of Mantis BS5, equipped with an integrated LED source. Made of steel and aluminium, its arm can be rotated horizontally (200°) and also tilted vertically.
This miniature wall lamp is ideal for use in a living room, above a bedside table or along a corridor for a spectacular effect.
Its base is 7.5cm in diameter, its length is 25.5cm and its height is about 11.5cm.
