Inspired by Michael Faraday's scientific discoveries in electromagnetism, and in particular his famous Faraday cage, the luminaire features an elongated sphere into which a half-sphere is integrated.

The luminaire is composed of the same characteristic steel mesh as the cage. The steel shield of the Faraday shade perfectly captures the light of the opal glass globe, creating a captivating ambient light.
