GARCHES - STUDIO GAZELLES
Our interior design work began in partnership with a firm specializing in timber construction, to rethink the interior layout and prepare the building permit. We then supervised the technical plans and all the finishing work, guaranteeing aesthetic coherence and functionality throughout the project.
This 200 m² contemporary home features a garden level with several living areas and a master suite. The double-height living room offers plenty of light and space, features an imposing chandelier and opens onto a mezzanine serving three bedrooms, their bathrooms and a multi-purpose area.
The modern kitchen is the heart of the home, with a curved terrazzo central island and deep green cabinets with gold handles and white Corian worktops, combining elegance and functionality. Open to the living room and dining room, it encourages fluidity of movement and conviviality. The dining room, around a naturally curved solid wood table, reinforces the link between indoors and outdoors.
The living room blends raw materials and designer furniture. The concrete sub-base, forming the first steps of the staircase and the base of the fireplace, adds an industrial touch. The one-piece metal staircase, with treads and risers set on exposed IPN, creates lightness and fluidity. Light-colored wood, metal fixtures and a green sofa with organic shapes bring warmth and comfort, complemented by a reading corner, plants and carefully chosen decorative objects.
The master suite on the first floor, with light wood floors and neutral walls, offers a clean, bright setting. The modern bathroom combines light zellige tiles and terrazzo flooring, double sinks and walk-in shower, while the bedroom with central bed, grey panelled wall, designer pendant lights and built-in storage is a haven of peace bathed in natural light.
Upstairs, three en-suite bedrooms and a multi-purpose area (projection, games) are organized around the mezzanine overlooking the living room, ensuring circulation, functionality and conviviality throughout the home.
