JARDINS DU LUXEMBOURG - STUDIO GAZELLES
The apartment is organized around a central wooden staircase with an airy design, fixed to a central shaft, a true architectural element of the project. A private elevator serves each level, allowing fluid circulation between floors. This inverted duplex was designed to make each floor autonomous, while maintaining overall consistency in layout and choice of materials.
The interior was designed with particular attention to well-being, in collaboration with a Feng Shui master. Volumes, circulation and natural light were optimized to create a harmonious, balanced environment. A large, renovated glass roof brings generous natural light into the living room and enhances the reception areas.
The open kitchen forms the heart of the living space. It is built around a central island in Patagonia marble, a noble and durable material, which structures the space while adding a mineral and elegant touch. The continuity of materials and colors reinforces the feeling of a warm, open space. The master suite has been designed as an intimate, modular space. A wall of bronze mirrored sliding doors conceals or reveals the bathroom and dressing room as required. The bathroom, made entirely of real marble from floor to ceiling, was custom-designed by a workshop specializing in marble cutting. The custom-made dressing room features backlit bronze mirror doors, offering visual depth and comfort of use.
The lower floor features two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and dressing rooms, designed as hotel suites. The first bedroom incorporates a gray stone mono-material bathroom, including a vanity top cut from the same stone.
LED lighting is integrated directly into the shower stone. The upper part of the shower is made of glass to let in natural light and create an impression of light volume. The walk-in closets are made of wooden slats on a black background throughout.
The second bedroom is a versatile space that can be used as a guest room or office, thanks to a built-in wall bed. Its private bathroom conceals shower, toilet and dressing room behind full-height mirror doors, offering a sleek, contemporary interpretation of the space. The entrance to the apartment is clad entirely in embossed wood. Storage and technical areas are integrated behind bespoke cupboards to preserve the purity of the purity of line. This entrance distributes the lower space and leads to the main staircase. A separate reception area houses a lounge and TV room, accessed through a worked glass door made of different types of glass. This space also incorporates a bespoke laundry room and a powder-pink bathroom, including a large shower and a single sauna, reinforcing the project's wellness dimension.
This project illustrates a global approach to luxury apartment renovation in Paris, blending interior architecture, bespoke design, noble materials and the quest for comfort, in a contemporary and timeless setting. The large panoramic terrace houses an outdoor kitchen with a pergola, a dining area and a third terrace for sunbathing. The terrace was planted by a landscape gardener and lit by the studio. The view of Paris's most beautiful monuments is breathtaking. This fabulous terrace has not escaped the eyes of the most beautiful advertising spots for haute couture brands such as Dior, Hermès and Cartier.
