FONTENAY SOUS BOIS 2 - CLARA LEROY-PEREIRA DESIGN
In Fontenay-sous-Bois, a new apartment has been completely refurbished, from the furniture to the fixtures. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a harmonious, functional space, where modern design blends perfectly with comfort.
By partially decompartmentalizing, adding a sculptural glass door and repositioning the lighting fixtures, which were fixed to the concrete ceiling by textile cables held in place by attractive hooks. The perspective from the entrance is enlarged thanks to an interplay of several mirrors, and the furniture follows the volumes of the room until it curves around the kitchen.
The master bedroom has been furnished so that a headboard doubles as a dressing room. The color underneath structures the volumes and enhances the impression of high ceilings.
A bedroom behind the living room has been transformed into a TV lounge/friends' room and telecommuting office, its George hanging lamp giving it the authentic, romantic touch it's known for.
