PARIS - ATELIER FB
Our challenge was to completely refurbish a doll's house in the heart of a private passageway in Paris. A total of 93m² developed over 3 levels. First floor: living room and open kitchen, second floor: master suite, basement: guest bedroom, shower room, laundry room and guest WC.
3 architectural parts for this project: a staircase that floats along the kitchen partition. The glazed credenza acts as a picture and sets the scene for the floating steps, a bespoke central kitchen island, clad in synthetic stone, which accommodates a dining table that folds away to serve as a table for 7, a deconstructed dressing room, with a loophole to bring in natural light.
In conclusion, this is a small but optimized home, with top-of-the-range features and special attention paid to both light and joinery.
