Claus Bonderup et Torsten Thorup

The Danish designers, Torsten Thorup (born in 1944) and Claus Bonderup (born in 1943) are graduates of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts School in Architecture in 1969. They both began working for the Danish architect Hennin Larsen. From there, they quite naturally teamed up and created the famous Semi Pendant light that was iconic of the 70s. Recognized around the world, Torsten Thorup and Claus Bonderup created watches and in-store displays for Georg Jensen, the Arktikum museum in Finland and the harbour area in Elsinore. Gubi has relaunched the Semi Pendant light.
