Gubi reissues the Semi suspension by Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup.

In 1968, these two designers, students at architecture school, designed and conceived this suspension in reaction to the "cosy" era dominating Denmark.

This elegant, sober luminaire features precise finishes. Its geometric shape will remind you of the tulip shape.
The shiny champagne-colored aluminum shade offers a cone-shaped light, perfect for your dining room or kitchen.

This suspension lamp, with its unique, timeless design, was very popular in the '80s. It was the best-selling Danish design, gaining worldwide recognition.

Thanks to their creation, Semi, Claus Bonderup and Torsten Thorup won first prize in a competition at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.

The suspension measures 30cm in diameter and 15cm in height. For optimum use, we recommend an LED light source, E14 bulb max 40W (not included).
