Rodolfo Dordoni

Birthdate
1954
Nationality
Italian
Occupation
Architect & Designer

An architect and designer by profession, Rodolfo Dordoni was born in Milan in 1954. He continued his studies in architecture at the Polytechnic school in Milan and subsequently became an emblematic figure in the world of design.
He created Dordoni Architects Studio, a studio dedicated to architecture and interior design. He designed the objects of very large houses such as Foscarini, Artemide or even Flos.
He works with high-level technologies that are rarely put forward in order to conceal the work of his projects. Rodolfo Dordoni has signed several projects; including the "Lumiere" lamps, edited for the Italian house Foscarini: lamps with classic shades revisited. This fixture is one of his greatest successes.
We also owe him the Buds collection, a series of lamps that transmits emotions linked to frozen beauty.

"Today the object is surpassed by the concept of collection which evokes an atmosphere, a style, a space where one feels good."
