AMeBE is an artistic duo based in Milan, composed of Alessandra Mantovani (born in Brianza, Italy, 1983) and Eleonora Barbareschi (born in Tradate, Italy, 1984).
Mantovani and Barbareschi met while studying at the Instituto Europeo di Design in Milan, where they earned degrees in industrial design.
In 2005, they moved to New York City, where Barbareschi earned a master's degree in design and technology at Parsons School of Design. That same year, the duo began their creative collaboration, and in 2008 they returned to Milan to establish their independent design studio.
Together since 2005, the two AMeBE designers define themselves as complementary and indispensable. Like the bomb and the fuse, they give their best, stimulated and fed by an endless intellectual tension that springs from the antipodes of their individual being.
Among the duo's design projects, AMeBE has designed new products for brands such as SELETTI.
