Studio duo AMeBE transform one of the greatest architectural icons of the Italian Renaissance into a lighting fixture: ''Cupolone'' (the dome in Roman dialect). At once design and architectural, the creators reproduce the dome of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome in a highly realistic way.

Made from resin, the Cupolone suspension accurately reproduces the architectural details of the dome, transporting us to the heart of the Eternal City. The suspension's golden interior emits a warm, welcoming light.

Centered around memory and the collective imagination, this project is a mise en abîme of timeless canons. Cupolone blends perfectly into a sober, contemporary setting, without taking up too much of the attention!

The suspension is 70cm in diameter and 72cm high. The light source (1x LED module, 12W max, 2700K, 1700lm) is included. It must be replaced by an electrician or professional. A maximum 4m cable is included.
A smaller model is also available.
