Designers

The studio Bartoli Design is the result of a family collaboration led by the famous designer Carlo Bartoli (1931-2020) and his children Paolo and Anna. Its history began in the 1960s when Carlo, who was an architect, set up his own architecture and design workshop.
Thanks to several successful collaborations with leading companies in the furniture sector, the workshop gained notoriety and expanded in order to explore the full range of activities and services offered by the Design Industry (concept to product design, art direction and brand strategies). He has notably designed the famous 4875 chair for the brand Kartell which is today exhibited in the collections of the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
His children, who were fascinated by their father’s creations, followed the same path and both became architects to join him. In 2007, they founded the Studio Bartoli Design and all worked together.
They stand out for their elegant design based on simplicity and balance. They created the Storm and Wonder collections for the Penta house edition, which is specialized in lighting design.
Combining creativity, technological knowledges, industrial processes and craftsmanship, the Bartoli Design studio has produced many best-sellers and is one of the most important Italian design studio.
They received numerous awards and actually exhibit their iconic products in museums around the world such as the Triennale in Milan and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
