Ballon Pendant U3 is a ceiling light designed by Mikko Kärkkäinen for Tunto, that received the German Design Award in 2019.

The ceiling light Ballon is composed of three Y-shaped arms coming out of a canopy, and 6 luminous heads attached on the end of the arms, two per arm. One head is a metallic disc with a diameter of 11 centimetres, the other one has a metallic or wooden disc with a diameter of 25 centimetres; each head can rotate 330°. The height of the light can be adjusted thanks to extension tubes. Ballon is a versatile lamp, that adapts and transforms to fit every space, every room, every atmosphere, thanks a large variety of options. Ballon brings a soft, organic, and authentic touch to any interior, whether it be installed in a living room, a bedroom, or an entry hall.

The lights sources are including (6 x LED, 3000 kelvins, 250 lumens per head, CRI85).

Ballon Is available in the following options, some options are available on demand:
- Frame: in steel, lacquered black, white, or 24K gold.
- Canopy: in steel, lacquered in black or white.
- Big disc and canopy cover: in steel, lacquered black or white, or in wood, oak, or walnut.
- Driver: DALI&Push Dim, 1-10V, or Casambi Dim.
- Extensions: in steel, lacquered black, white, or 24K gold, with a length of 15, 30, 45, 60, 75 or 105 centimetres.

Ballon is a collection of ceiling and wall lamps.

Handmade in Finland.
