"Wan" is the phonetic translation of "bowl" in Japanese.

This object, which inspired designer Johanna Grawunder when she imagined this collection for Flos, is an instrument of civilization that spans the ages and all cultures. It has been a universal representation of humankind for centuries. In imagining this collection, the designer combined this object with her fascination for light to create this minimalist, elegant, Japanese-inspired bowl of light.

Sober, chic and uncluttered, this ceiling light is equally at home on its own or in an enfilade. Its discreet charm and simple lines lend elegance to all interior styles. The Wan ceiling light is ideal for spaces with low ceilings, such as corridors, entrance halls or bedrooms, providing functional yet aesthetic lighting.

The light source is not supplied. We recommend a G9 bulb, 40W max.
