Eichholtz presents the Tryon floor lamp, the result of a collaboration between the Dutch company and the famous THE MET art museum in New York.

The Tryon floor lamp draws its inspiration from the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Cloisters library, dedicated to the art and architecture of the Middle Ages. Since its opening to the public in 1938 in Upper Manhattan, the Cloisters has offered an exceptional space housing some 15,000 works exploring various aspects of medieval Europe, such as decorative arts, sculpture, architecture, painting, stained glass and illuminated manuscripts.

This American-style floor lamp evokes the remarkable details of the fixtures featured in this iconic library. It is distinguished by its adjustable base, finished in brushed brass, and its grey velvet shade, hand-crafted in the Netherlands. These elements offer a modern reinterpretation of the lamps found in the medieval environment of the Cloisters.

With a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 146.5 cm, the Tryon floor lamp by Eichholtz embodies a symbiosis of rich history and contemporary aesthetics.
